Flat-rate Taxation
Under Liechtenstein tax law, very wealthy foreign private individuals have the option of flat-rate taxation provided they are not gainfully employed.
In this case, it is not the income that is relevant, but a person's presumed living expenses. The tax rate is currently 25% of the expenses (at least CHF 300,000.00 per tax year). As a rule, flat-rate taxation can be an alternative worth considering for assets of around CHF 30 million or more.
